Who We Can Help

At Home Caring, we provide home care for any disabled person who needs us. Our team offers tremendous support, helping you live life to the full. You can use us if you or your loved one has:

  • Physical disabilities. These can affect a person’s mobility, strength and coordination and include spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, and muscular dystrophy.
  • Cognitive disabilities. These affect areas like learning, memory, and logical dedication. We can assist clients with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, and congenital impairments.
  • Sensory disabilities. These include things like blindness and hearing loss.
  • Mental health disabilities. These could include bipolar, depression, anxiety or other clinical disorders that interrupt daily functioning.

During your consultation, we discuss your care plan and how we might arrange disability home care services in South Australia should you choose us. You can tell us about your specific requirements and provide details of any medical professionals you would like us to liaise with as part of your plan.

If you require assistance with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funding or would like to become a scheme participant, we can help. Every year, we support clients to get the funding they need to cover the cost of care.

How We Help You

At Home Caring, we aim to improve in-home care for disabled adults across South Australia. We want more people with disabilities to remain independent and live the way they want.

As a care agency, we follow NDIS guidance on disability support best practices. We believe in delivering holistic assistance that facilitates every part of your life, allowing you to live purposefully, no matter your condition. Examples of how support from us could enrich your life include:

  • Ensuring you can continue living in your current house or apartment with regular visits and checkups from our team
  • Making sure you take any medication you require on time and in the correct dose.
  • Getting support living a more independent lifestyle, helping you regain autonomy (if possible)
  • Assistance with education, vocational training or finding employment in South Australia
  • Transportation to social events and doctor’s appointments
  • Help with shopping and collecting prescriptions from the pharmacy
  • Assistance with visiting friends and family

If you want to talk to us about the support we offer, get in touch. We can guide you through the services we provide and how we can help you live the life you want.

How Much Care We Provide

The amount of care we provide depends on your preferences and NDIS funding. Team members can deliver periodic assistance or stay in your home to facilitate independent living full-time.

“Visiting care” is when a team member goes to your home for appointments throughout the day. During these visits, you will get help with everything from going shopping to doing the dishes.

“Live-in” care is more comprehensive. This option ensures that someone is by your side 24 hours a day, so if you need help at night, there is always someone there.

You can discuss your needs with us at a free consultation.
